Consecration You must buy your tools with the
purpose of using them exclusively as the tools of Witchcraft. You must
not argue over the price of any phase of acquiring them. By keeping this
attitude you will have started the consecration at the moment that you
decided to acquire your tool. The ritual of Consecration is a physical and
mental acceptance that the particular tool is indeed for Witchcraft. THE
SWORD, THE DAGGER, THE DOUBLE-AXE Kneel before the image of the Goddess and place the tool on the Pentacle. Point the head of the Ax towards your right side and with the handle pointing to your left. The idea: Cut away the grossness of your physical side to allow your finer qualities of your spiritual side to grasp and handle your life. This consecration must (for those women who still have one) be done on a day you have your menses, during that time you are at the height of your psychic abilities. It is the time that all the other religions that suppress Women tell you that you must purify yourself to participate in that religion. Having your menses in the first place is cleaning you out. Having your menses gives physical evidence that you most likely can reproduce. There is an egg somewhere mixed in with all of that bloody membranous fiber that was prepared to support life. Say: Dagger I CONJURE YOU IN THE NAME OF Your Mother THAT YOU SERVE ME AS A DEVICE OF PROTECTION AND STRENGTH Oil the tool completely, rub it in well while you say aloud all the occurrences that the tool will protect you from. Think of all the evils that it will cut away, and how much you admire its beauty. Imagine using the tool with an attitude of strength, all in the name of the Woman who bore you. Replace it on the Altar when you are done. Say: Dagger I CONJURE YOU IN THE NAME OF Your Mother. THAT YOU SERVE ME AS AN INSTRUMENT OF PURIFICATION. Take some of your menstrual blood and rub it in well while you say aloud all that blood and safety and purification brings to mind. Pass the tool occasionally through the incense smoke and then return the tool to the Pentacle on the Altar and say: Dagger I CHARGE YOU IN THE
NAME OF Your Mother. Take up the tool and wash it in the consecrated salt water used at the creation of the Circle. Wash it with your bare hands, putting your vital force, imagined as a blue light, into it; imagining and seeing the light go from your body into the tool. Feel the solidness of the tool and explore its every turn. Imagine what you could do with such a knife. Use your imagination until you have run out of ideas. See the blue light shining as you imagine using the knife. Blast the blue light from the knife in the same manner as a laser gun. Blast this energy in any strength for your protection and the protection of the tool. Feel the energy physically as a charge of electricity like that given off when you hold two charged electrical wires in your hand. Take the still wet tool and lay it on your partners' body with the point of the blade towards her head (or over your heart if you have no partner). It is pointing towards the representation of imagination. Place the handle towards her feet, physicalness. She must be resting on her back with her head to the North, the area of death and rebirth, earth and solidity, cold and darkness and the unknown. Then you are to give her the Five-fold Salute, kissing each part of her body, lingering with the kiss to give force to the tool. Then place the tool over her pubic area in some manner so it is not painful. Lie on top of her with your genitals touching. Lay your body exactly on hers and kiss as powerfully as you can to charge the tool. Before the image of the Goddess, kneel and place the object on the Pentacle. Say: Your Mother BLESS THIS Object THAT IT WILL SERVE ME IN ALL ACTS OF LOVE AND HONOR. Take up the object. Asperge it and cense it and return it to the Altar. Place the point of your Dagger onto it and charge the object with your blue light while saying: I Your Witch name CONSECRATE THIS Object THAT IT WILL BE A TOOL TO HONOR AND SERVE WITH LOVE Your Mother. Take up the object and oil it and then charge it between your bodies in the same manner as for the charging of the Dagger. Use the tool promptly or display it to the Goddess at the Four Quarters of the room by placing it on the Pentacle. Say: SO MOTE IT BE, BLESSED BE when you are done.
