Libation

The High Priestess receives the
filled Cup from the youngest Witch. Holding it up with outstretched arms
the High Priestess kneels. Everyone behind her kneels with their arms by
their sides and with their Daggers in their right hand. The High Priestess
says:
BLESSED BE THE WINE OF LIFE AND
LOVE
BLESSED BE THE WOMAN WHO IS THE
CUP
BLESSED BE THE WOMB OF THE MIGHTY
GODDESS
BRIAN

The Kore sits on the Altar and everyone
else stands, arms by their sides, Daggers in their right hand. Then standing
between the Kore and the High Priestess, the youngest Witch raises her
arms in the Open Position. She makes a slow clockwise turn to end facing
the Kore again. The second youngest Witch takes the Kore's Dagger and the
Wand from the youngest Witch. The youngest Witch hands the Libation Bowl
to the Kore. Grasping it with both hands, the Kore holds the bowl in her
lap. The young Witches return to their place in line according to rank. The Last Witch in rank, who may not be the youngest in age takes up the
silver Pentacle and places enough Sabbat Cakes for everyone on it. She
goes and stands on the left side of the High Priestess.
Pouring a little wine from the Cup
into the Libation Bowl the High Priestess gives the Kore a toast. Now the
High Priestess can tell the Kore what is not going well in her life and
asks for a solution. The Kore would then use the wine in the Libation Bowl
like a crystal ball and then make a Libation toast.
When the High Priestess has completed
her toast, she takes a sip of the wine from the Cup. She then breaks off
a piece of the Sabbat Cake, feeds the piece to the Kore and then eats the
rest herself. The High Priestess then turns her back on the Kore and hands
the Cup from her left hand to the left hand of the Woman behind her. She
goes and stands at the edge of the Circle facing inward. Every Witch, when
she has completed her Libation, comes to stand on the left side of the
previous Woman. The Kore, when everyone has toasted, drinks the wine in
the Libation Bowl.
