We usually call the Goddess consciousness down into the body of the Kore, but not always.  The Goddess consciousness is your idea of what the Goddess is to be from the listing of attributes mixed with what comes up.  (See Appendix) Regard the Woman as the physical manifestation of the Goddess Herself. 

Place on the charcoal the ritual incense for the Invocation.  Use whatever mix that you think works best The Kore, Dagger in her right hand and Wand in her left, stands in the Open Position with her back to the Altar.  The Coven remains standing where they are, with right arms outstretched and with Daggers in hand in salute.  The High Priestess goes and faces the Kore and raises the Pentacle, with both hands, above the head of the Kore and invokes:

The High Priestess kneels and draws a trident on the body of the Kore with the Pentacle.  Draw the trident as a curve made from her right breast down to her naval and up again to her left breast.  Make the downward middle stroke from the jugular notch, the hollow at the base of the neck, to the top of the hood covering the clitoris.  The Kore then recites the part of the "THE TRUTH" that corresponds with the season of the year (See Table of Contents) starting the recitation with:

AND I HAVE SAID ...  (The Truth)  

At the completion of "The Truth" the Kore lowers her arms and allows the Goddess to take possession of her.  When you recognize the Goddess's presence, all the Witches give Her the Five-fold Salute in order of rank. 

If the Goddess has not shown her presence, then the Kore reads from the reflections in the Pentacle.  She uses the Pentacle as if it were a crystal ball, thereby giving words from the Goddess by another method.  Sometimes She manifests during the reading.  After the Kore is complete, the Witches then reform according to rank in a line behind the High Priestess who is facing the Kore.  All the Witches, according to rank, give the Kore the Five-fold Salute.
