4 Quarter Invocation The Last Woman chooses when to rise. When she stands, everyone stands with her. In a line, the Witches retrieve their Daggers from the Altar, the Last Woman first. They regroup and stand in the Open Position. The High Priestess, holding her Dagger moves to the eastern area of the Circle. The Kore, following holds the silver pentacle, and the Messenger rings the bell. The High Priestess cuts a pentagram in the air as the Kore holds up the silver pentacle. (It is a badge to show our authenticity to the Goddess.) The Messenger rings the bell three times so the Goddess will notice our arrival at an area. After they announce their arrival at a Quarter the Priestess says: I SUMMON STIR AND CALL UP The Goddess, GODDESS OF THE East, North, West, South, WOMEN OF Imagination and Enlightenment, TO GUARD OUR CIRCLE AND TO WITNESS OUR RITES. Everyone should salute by pointing the Athame (Dagger) at the Quarter of the room that they face and then imagine the arrival of the Goddess before moving on the next area. The Magick Circle is now complete. Create an elongated sound as you walk clockwise from one area of the Circle to another; EEE in the East, I I I in the South, OOO in the West, AAA in the North and MMM in the North running the sounds together. Hum quietly as you salute as the humming sound should be continuous until the Circle is complete. (Imagine the pentagram overlaying
your body. The leftmost bottom point of the pentagram is south=left foot,
leftmost arm=left shoulder=east.)
