ESP

Mediums themselves, are more or
less looked upon as frauds, acquiring their information before the sitting
or by guesswork. Some psychic investigators hold that the medium gets her
information of the deceased through subconscious knowledge, through Super-ESP
(the Collective Consciousness or Akasha), if she is considered psychically
gifted. Of course, she could also be communicating with someone who has
died.
The Collective Consciousness is the
highest state off consciousness known. The Akasha is known as a record
of the design and meaning of the universe. Super-ESP is purported to enable
one to go anywhere in the world, gather information from peoples minds,
know where to find these people, computerize the data, then dramatize it
in the form of a deceased person speaking. Saints, enlightened spiritual
teachers and mediums are said to have access to the Akasha and the Collective
Consciousness through their use of Super-ESP.
I hold that mediums acquire their
knowledge through Super-ESP. I will not rule out any possibility of the
power of the mind. I hold that mediums don't receive messages from the
dead. I believe that in all cases it is not the dead returning with a message
for the living, but information collected from the Akasha and given by
the medium to the sitter. The information is then analyzed into a logical
answer for the Sitter in the style of the deceased. The medium acts as
the conduit. The rituals of Witchcraft are just another method of tapping
into the Akasha.
As for mediums who pick up previously
unknown personages, I hold that some personalities cling to a certain place
or area. The medium as a sensitive picks up the surrounding vibrations. The area may also be an area of thought. I hold that the dead, from their
infinite positions, cannot present themselves to a finite mind. The Goddess
can't present Her infinite self to us who dwell in the finite. We can only
see Her works. We who created Her and the ideas of finite and infinite
cannot restrict ourselves in imagining Her grandeur.
The mediums use of the Collective
Consciousness is a necessity for her job. She becomes aware of the Collective
Consciousness in the same manner that our awareness of how to do something
grows when the necessity for the objective grows. If you need or want it
bad enough you will find a way to get it. Necessity is the Mother of Invention. When our awareness of the Collective Consciousness and its uses become
available to us as Women, we develop it and use it. Women usually use it
but call it intuition.
Reincarnation is a possibility if
you hold there is life after death. I think that our pictures of what happens
after death are a summary of our imagination; after all, all we can prove
is that we are here now.
Super-ESP can be tapped with the
use of drugs or with many years of meditation and practice. You may be
gifted and can tap it in your dreams, use self-hypnosis, or other means. I would try those methods first. When my book of Lights and Shadows was
given to me, it contained this recipe for Flying Ointment:
Extract of Opium 50 gms
Betel 30 gms
Cinquefoil 6 gms
Henbane 15 gms
Belladonna 15 gms
Hemlock (ordinary) 15 gms
India Hemp 250 gms
Canthanides 5 gms
Gum Tragacouth qs (quantity sufficient)
Powdered Sugar qs
Acnanthol 3 gms
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
There is no fat in this recipe that
would facilitate rubbing it into the skin. I would say that this is an
incense.
One of the major characteristics
of medieval and Renaissance Witchcraft in Europe that helps distinguish
it from ordinary shamanism is that the Witches performed their acts while
NOT in a trance. Unlike the classical shaman, the sorcerer in Europe had
his trance encounters with the spirit world on occasions distinguished
from his manipulation of that supernatural world. The drugs used by some
New York City Witches were: Deadly Nightshade (Atropa Belladonna), Henbane
(Hyoscyamus), Mandrake (Mandragora), and Thorn Apple or Jimpson Weed (Datura). Unfortunately the side effects are nasty for these drugs. Most Covens use
alcohol or Cannabis Sativa if a drug is used at all. Preparation and
Dosage: Not recommended for use without medical direction.
The hallucinogenic high lasts for
about 10 hours if prepared as a Sabbat Cake. Short enough so you would
have Sunday to recover before work on Monday and long enough to complete
psychic experiments. Use Cannabis and Jimpson Weed jointly in the incense
but only Cannabis in the cakes.
SABBAT CAKES
Mix: 1 tablespoon honey
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon white wine or Mead
Add: 1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups oatmeal (rolled oats)
Optional: Cinnamon, allspice, cloves,
ground cardamon.
Use one ounce of the leafy tops
ground to a fine powder, browned in butter, for the adults. For the young
people, make them without the cannabis and paint pictures with food coloring on
them so you know the difference.
Combine well, adding water if necessary
to make it into a rollable dough. Cut into small crescent-shaped cakes. Bake until the cookies are light brown in a preheated oven at 350o for about 15 minutes. Drizzle with honey during the Libation.
Blessed be all, both great and small, and have you
full happy day.
